Lumene Finland Deep cleansing mask -Review

Lately I've been obsessed with face masks and I've been doing it religiously every night ! I wanted to give you a completely honest review of the lumene Finland Matt touch deep cleansing peat mask.(with arctic peat)

According to the packaging This mask is oil absorbing and pore tightening for normal to oily skin.

Fist of all I wanted to note that I have suffered from dry skin my whole life and I have no clue why. However I really wanted to try this mask and see how it works out for me regardless of my skin type .

This  packaging looks great, it looks expensive  and looks like it will work well . 

Description : creamy mask absorbs excess oil and impurities from the skin and tightens the pores 

Directions : use 1-2 times a week  and apply to a cleansed face or neck, avoids sensitive skin around the eyes

As the mask takes effect you may feel a tingling sensation on your skin . Leave on for 10 mins and rinse with water 

Bearing all this in mind the first time I used it I followed the directions to the tee . However as I type I have the mask on my face and I think I've had it on for about 20 mins now lol . 

What the packing doesn't prepare you for , is the smell of the product , it has a very dirty smell . Sort of like a park field , and Its very unappealing .  

The actual product looks like a mud mask, which I think is kind of cool because it gives you the impression you are having a real spa mask treatment

It's very soft , almost buttery and applies to the skin very well. I put it on while my skin was slightly damp because I has just cleansed it, so I'm not Sure how well it will apply to the face when it's  completely dry.

It goes on light brown and dries dark brown. When it's completely dry you will feel it on your face as though you can hardly move it. Depending on the consistency that you applied originally. 

I like to make if really thick so I put on two layers. I'm not sure if it does a better Job that way but its a habit .  Also I didn't feel any tingling sensations  in my face 

It rally easy to wash  off and my skin felt smooth however  it was still a bit dry so I had to lotion really well. However the next mornings skin was glowing. 

Overall I think it's a good product

Would I recommend it ? Yes 

Would I use it again !? Absolutely 

Will I purchase it again ?! No 

This product is slightly overpriced

I managed to grab it on clearance at walgreens for 4.89 but it retails at 9.99 which is way too much for me .
