Happy Spooky Halloween !

Heya Guys and welcome back to AWIMS

I have done A lot this year, i've been Big Brothers bit on the side Multiple times , I was on Dinner date and I went on an EPIC Summer Vacation to Miami and I even hit my goal of 10k subscriber on youtube. HOWEVER none of these things even begin to compare the awesomeness of this week! 

I got to sit down and chat with internet superstars Pixiwoo! Definitely the highlight of the year! If you want to check out the post you can read and even listen to the interview HERE

The rest of the week I have spent planning my two Epic events that ill be organizing in September!

YES there will be another #bhmbloggermeet and YES i'll be presenting a NEW event called #AWSOCIALMEET! Where bloggers will get social media tips and tricks of the trade from business professionals. All of the details on how to attend will be posted on the blog VERY soon! 

So stay tuned! 

Halloween I'll be Dressing up my daughter and having a little play date with her cousins. I plan to make some halloween themed treats or cupcakes which should be fun!

I picked up this really cute washi tape set from Sainsbury's last week , perfect for the upcoming christmas season. The gold washi works perfectly for this week as I went with a Purple Orange and Gold theme in honor of halloween . The Purple Washi tape and Postcard are from Paperchase of course, while the stamps are from the Wilko set I also picked up last week.

A Week In My Shoes 2015 | Blogger events and Blow Drys! | Week 2

Hiya guys and welcome back to A Week in My Shoes , Sorry I haven't been able to keep up weekly with this post but i'll try my best . My blog is now re-vamped and i'll have regular posts up for you soon I promise! since #awims is my most popular blog series I thought I would share with you what i've been up to this week in my daily paperchase organiser!

Monday 

Re- arranged my room , did a few DIY's and Chilled like a hot potato in my PJs 

Tuesday 

Class , Neals Yard Blogger Event in Grand Central

Wednesday -Friday

Ill be filming loads of youtube videos and catching up on some class work 

Ill also be working on the blog renovation. 

Saturday

Ill be heading to the grand opening of RUSH hair salon in Birmingham and getting my complimentary Blow Dry (blog post about it soon in the hair section!)  

Sunday

PREP FOR PIXIWOO INTERVIEW (ill be exclusively interviewing Pixiwoo next Tuesday and I need to make sure I have some awesome questions that don't make me sound amateur lol ill be in the pit with the big dogs (radio and tv press) so ill be networking my ass off for sure.

If you guys didn't know Pixiwoo will be in Birmingham on Tuesday delivering a meet and greet with fans in the Birmingham Bull Ring Superdrug. I however have been given the exclusive opportunity to interview them earlier in the day! So watch this blog as i'll be posting the interview here and on my youtube channel

A Week In My Shoes | Faux Filofax Decor | Week 14

Welcome Back!

It's now week 14 of #AWIMS and I think its safe to say i'm as organised as it gets! . Its strange to think that one little planner can change someones life.. but it did!

This week I thought it would be fun to create some planner accents and also print some cute freebies from the web! I'm actually really stocked up now on planner decor . But you can never have too much I say! This week involved a lot of listing , sticking cutting and gluing ! lol 

This week I had an epiphany!

I have been writing down quite a lot of ideas for future events and I came up with an awesome event idea literally spur of the moment!

It had been a long day since I had class , coursework and my general motherly duties but midnight was nearing and knew i needed an energy kicker. So drank one of those random energy drinks [ you know the ones that you have never heard of but you buy anyway because they are cheaper than red bull ,plus they come in humungous cans! ].. well I drank half a can and was BUZZING until I had to literally force myself to sleep at 4am.. That being said , in that time frame I managed to complete tons of work but most importantly I came up with an event idea specifically tailored to The Body Shop. The next morning I woke up early and called up the store to pitch my idea and BAM! It happened! We clicked like magic and its all smooth sailing from there! The next #bhmbloggermeet is officially happening Nov 28th and I couldn't be more proud , excited, happy ... the list of words go on but i'm sure you get the gist! lol 

Aside from that , I have been stock piling products from victoria secret for months now and I finally decided to break in a few of my shower gels :-) 

I think that would be it for this week !

A Week In My Shoes | Faux Filofax Decor | Week 12

 WELCOME BACK!

we are into week TWELVE of my shoes and I couldn't be anymore stressed! 

At least i've got my 'pruuty' planner to look at everyday haha!

No SERIOUSLY with working on my company , managing my course load , taking care of a monster toddler two year old and trying to fit in some what of a social life I would say i'm pretty close to the exhaustion button , or maybe i'm on on the other end of the spectrum and close to the wonder woman button! haha . only time will tell. 

This week has been work related completely , no time for social media , however i managed to film three videos last week sunday. That meant I could upload during the week which I know was refreshing for my subscribers to see! 

Also AS YOU CAN SEE BY THE STICKERS FOR YESTERDAY , ITS HALF TERM! 

Now I have no idea why i'm excited because I have three HUGE projects to do and a serious amount of journal work to do BUT I can sleep past 6am and find at least one day or two to catch up with some friends (hopefully)

My planner had no theme this week . Just fun colours , lots of stickers and stickies! 

Ill be keeping mm fingers crossed that I can get some beauty blog posts up for you guys this week!

Also ill be going to a blogger event on thursday and I may be dressing up for halloween! woop! 

BUT thats it for this week!

A Week In My Shoes | Faux Filofax Decor | Week 11

HIYA EVERYONE! 

We are now 11 weeks in! OMG WHERE HAS TIME FLOWN! 

My organiser is looking really full this week , I even added in tons of sticky notes and mini to do lists because i was so busy (workwise) . I did not have a blogger event this week , but I did have another meeting on friday regarding the launch of my business !! So far I have finished all the blogger pack designs  and will be hopefully getting it printed up next week! Then I can FINALLY start getting the work out there and put together an awesome marketing strategy! 

If you just stumbled upon my blog and you have no idea what i'm talking about, well I am creating a blogger binder (filofax style) that will basically help you organise your social media life and get your blog on the right track to be the success you want it to be!

I have been working on creating this binder for months and i'm really excited to finally be able to have this created for you all!  

UNTIL THEN we have this awesome Paperchase binder to look at :-)

I picked up tons of  cute sticky notes and stickers this week so I thought I would put them to the test! I actually love the way they enhance the look of the planner so i will definitely be using them in the future! I may even design some of my own for the "ABBIGAYLE WARNER PLANNER" !

A Week In My Shoes | Faux Filofax Decor | Week 9

Hiya Everyone!

As always I like to have some kind of blogging event going on every week, and this week I was invited to an exclusive blogging event at LUSH Solihull. Unfortunately as the last minute my babysitting fell through so I couldn't go! :-(

Aside from that I spent the week catching up on coursework and my fav tv shows!

TUESDAY

I had a business phone call with the Director of EtailPR network . We discussed #bhmbloggermeet and the possibility of future collaborations which was awesome!

FRIDAY

I had a business meeting with an investor for a new company i'm starting . I'm really excited to tell you i'm coming up with my own stationery line! I'm still thinking of what to call it but I think i'm just going to go with my name ABBIGAYLE WARNER ... hopefully it gives the same effect like "Jessica Simpson"

Some of you guys already use planner printables and designs I sell in my Etsy store but Ill be coming up with a fully fledged business and events company! Ill be putting on tons of blogger events and ill be designing a BLOGGER ORGANISER! yes I said it MY VERY OWN ORGANISER . It will look similar to a filofax but it will be catered towards bloggers , youtubers and anyone looking to increase traffic in their social media accounts!

I also headed to the Leather factory that will be making the organisers and got tons of swatches. I had them all cutdown to size so I could add them to my keychain!

I cant wait to launch my organisers for you all , It's going to be awesome! Ill be having a launch party for the product late november , Just in time for christmas! So keep close because i'll be sending out invites to bloggers very soon! 

SOCIAL MEDIA PLANNER

 .I completely re organised my tumblr accounts and went on a 6k campaign for my WEHEARTIT account . I started at 5536 followers at the start of the week , and as of 10 minutes ago I reached >>>> 6005 <<<<

All in all, I had a pretty successful campaign!

Today Ill be starting a new Instagram account to showcase my coursework and typography journal pages!  I look forward to seeing how that progresses and hopefully it will give me a bit of an edge over the other classmates!

LINO CUT of my Initials. ATW . It was my first time creating a Lino Cut so I expected to run into a few issues! Initially I had created the cut backwards! So I had to start again , however i’m glad I did as this one came out much better than the last. I knew I wanted to challenge myself to do a harder font  than your typical san serif font.  I can’t wait to get into class and print it , I’m curious to see how it turns out!

A Week In My Shoes | Faux Filofax Decor | Week 8

Hiya everyone!

Another week in my shoes = MORE FUN!

This week , as you can see I was pretty bogged down with homework (I totally made that word up by the way "bogged") However I always like to fit in time for one or maybe two things per week if I can.

TUESDAY

 I took my daughter for "High Tea" at Chameleon restaurant  in Birmingham . 

It was definitely the most elegant lunch i've had in a very long time . She loved it and couldn't wait to tell everyone about her "tea party" I'll have a full blog post on it later on in the week! 

SATURDAY

Today i'll be heading to the #aff (Autumn fashion fix) fashion show in Birmingham , hosted by #TOWIE stars Sam and Faiers! I will definitely have pictures up on my instagram , also ill do a full blog post on it by the end of the week!

MY SOCIAL MEDIA PLANNER

This week I got back into the swing of things with social media planning. I am finally back in control of my online life. #bhmbloggermeet planning took up a lot of my time however it turned out to be worth it in more ways than I can imagine!

This week I chose to have a blue , grey and gold theme!  To be honest i've had this gold gel pen sitting in my bag for weeks and I wanted an excuse to use it :-)
