STATEMENT LIPS! YES OR NO ?

Have you every browsed through the drug store lipstick aisle and seen lipsticks in colors you would have to be insane to buy?
YES!  Most beauty companies have  makeup , including lipstick in the wildest colors!
The real question is would you ever wear it?


It may look awesome ont he model but lets be real, if you were to walk outside wearing bright green or purple lipstick you would receive the wildest looks from the general public. 
so in what situation would you wear these colors?
what is the purpose of even making colors that cant be worn anywhere but the runway?
I wanted to get your personal take on it.

    That´s a great question! I think there are very outgoing people out there who like to experiment and others who rather keep it natural. Some colors I´d say are still ok for everyday, like purple, hot pink, orange/tangerine or oxblood red (very much "in" right now)...whatever your personal style goes for...green and yellow i.g. maybe not so much a thing for everyone but great if you want something more "out of the box", however those colors are rarly sold in masses.

      thanks for your input jezz , I absolutely agree with you , some colors definitely work , im a huge fan of the red lip! and surprisingly enough there actually are tons of bold people who will take that beauty risk and wear a neon lip color. I applaud them fro their confidence!

    I think it's definitely fun to use them for artsy photos! But I'm personally not bold enough to try out colours other than pink, red and and nude haha!
