3 Summer Frozen Cocktail Recipes You Need in Your Life

MIX IT UP THIS SUMMER WITH ECHO FALLS FROZEN ROSE COCKTAILS

It's been a sweltering week of heat here in England this week ,  an the evenings have been insanely long and humid. All I want to do is lay out in the sun and sip on a refreshing cocktail, close my eyes and pretend I'm on vacation (don't pretend like you haven't done it too !)

#mood

When it comes to drinks , honestly I'm a noob. I feel that sipping Cocktails in the summer comes hand in hand with my single young travel obsessed personality!

Echo Falls has created the coolest drink of the season to quench out thirst in the incredible British heat! (I never thought I'd use British and heat in the same sentence)

Introducing Echo Falls range of Frosé Cocktails! Partnering with one of London’s leading expert Mixologists, Clotilde Lataille, Echo Falls’ three delicious, blended Frosé cocktail recipes are perfect for those looking for a tipple to enjoy in the summer heat. Created using the Echo Falls White Zinfandel, the ideal rosé for your blended summer cocktail with flavours of strawberries and peachy aromas, the three distinct cocktails are packed with bursts of flavour including refreshing lychee, sweet strawberries and zingy lemon.

So whether you’re looking to impress at your next garden BBQ or you simply want to try the go-to drink of the summer, Echo Falls has got you covered with its White Zinfandel and innovative cocktail creations.

This summer sees Californian wine brand Echo Falls transform the face of its wine labels, attributing each wine to a fun and lively persona. The new packaging will see a spectrum of colour introduced across the front of its label to distinguish the flavours and reflect the grape variety so you spend less time in the supermarket reading labels and more time at home enjoying a glass.

SO HOW DO YOU MAKE THESE SUMMER FROSE COCKTAILS?

I love to travel and would love to visit this 5* Hotel. It's located literally a stone throw away from the infamous Hyde Park, which is the perfect location to Picnic. Why would you want to bring warm sandwiches from home when you can grab The Arch London's Picnic hamper . It includes  a chilled bottle of Camel Valley English sparking wine; Homemade seasalt, lemon and sage crisps, English Cheddar with apple and raisin chutney on sun blushed tomato bread; Smoked salmon sandwiches with lemon butter and cracked black pepper; Coronation chicken salad; Jersey Royal potato salad; Raspberry and pistachio trifle; and Battenburg. (INSERT SHOCKED AND HUNGRY FACE HERE ) You get to taste Hunter 486 restaurant’s critically acclaimed Best of British inspired menu for only £95.

Its perfect for a cute romantic getaway date, proposal , or in my case a getaway family weekend with my daughter. It comes in an Instagram worthy posh hamper  that will make you not want to eat your food, in worry that you will mess up the aesthetic!

You would have to collect and return your hamper the same day unless agreed otherwise.

FIVE Essential Travel Accessories for a perfect flight

FIVE Essential Travel Accessories for a perfect flight

FIVE Essential Travel Accessories for a perfect flight

It's around summer time where school and colleges are ending and everyone goes on vacation. Whenever I travel it can be really hectic getting everything together . My biggest worry is to forget something important ( like my passport!)

So much to organise!  I've been looking particularly for a passport cover that would fit both passports and also a small card/cash wallet that looked cute and chic and can fit in my pocket . I also do not like to spend too much money on these things, I always look for bargains, especially at the outlets.

After searching through Five Designer stores, I struggled to find anything that looked like it was worth it's price tag. That was until I head into KATE SPADE!  I found exactly what I was looking for! I've had this mini wallet and the passport holder for just over 3 years now and it's still going strong!

Before I travel, I make a quick checklist of items that I know i'll need before heading to the airport.

1. PASSPORT HOLDER & LUGGAGE TAGS

An obvious one , but vital to put on the list . Of all the things I may be doing  such as loading up my tablet with a full season of 2 broke girls, or charging every tech device I own incase the plane has no charging port. I sometimes forget to pack my passport! luckily I always remember last minute because of my trusty checklist! PLUS you want to bring your passport in style , show off your personalist, instead of the boring dull brown or blue most passports are. Aside from Kate spade my favourite place to shop for passport holders are Typoshop and SkinnyDip!

My luggage is quite unique, but not as unique as i thought! I thought I was the only one with a pink and white  rolling Guess suitcase, but turns out someone else had the exact suitcase when I travelled to Miami and I almost walked away with someone else's things! If it wasn't for my luggage tag I would have  had a very different holiday! Lately i've been loving sprucing up my suitcase with stickers and cute tags!

2. TRAVEL WALLET

Foreign money can be very annoying , some places rely heavily on paper money (ahem america) and while over here in Brum we mostly use coins, or just our cards. So I try to make sure I always have a separate coin holder and wallet  for my foreign money. although I have come back from holidays and handed over Quarters as 10p ... (by accident of course and nope i'd didn't get caught! After realising I slowly backed away and then ran haha )

3.TRAVEL SIM CARD

With the millions of things I do on a regular basis , my phone needs to be on,  readily and available for any call. I always pick up a travel sim card  or if i know i'm going to be traveling frequently throughout the year ill get a rolling foreign contract ( I don't recommend this unless you are going to be racking up some serious airline miles!)

4.TECH ACCESSORIES

I cant survive any plane ride without quality tv shows, not the old fluff they put on the planes. I'm an Avid tv watcher and If I don't have the NEXT episode of the tv show i've  been watching i'm going to be pretty annoyed on the plan . Which is why i'll skip tv the week before I travel and load all the latest episodes on my ipad. I wrote about my TOP TRAVEL TECH ESSENTIALS FOR A LONG PLANE RIDE over on my Business blog  < definitely a MUST READ

5. NECK PILLOW

If it's a long plane ride, now i'm talking at least 5-8 hours, then i'll probably run out of shows , or just get tired. so a neck pillow is a must! I've seen people sleeping on the plan with the neck cranked on their shoulder and all that goes through my head , is the pain they are going to feel when they wake up! OWCH! . Primark sells a really comfy neck pillow with a strap you can attach to your luggage. I've had mine for about a year now and it cost me £6 ! MUCH cheaper than anywhere else i've ever been to! Primark never fails!
